London Zoo

Last Sunday we all went to London Zoo. Garpur, Vala, Steve, Úlfrún, Már and I went together, as well as Sarah, Ren and Ella, Steve's daughter and Steve's son's daughter's. Because that the railway-company was doing some construction that morning, we took the bus from Ely to Cambridge, the train from Cambridge to London's King's Kross and then finally the Tube to the Zoo.

At London's King's Kross, Garpur was very excited to see platform no. 9 3/4 from Harry Potter .. but a little disappointed when he saw that it had been moved due to tourist attraction. We spent the whole day at the Zoo and it was wonderful. According to Garpur, the highlights were seeing the bats and the snakes ... and jumping in the children's "jumping-castle" ofcourse!!

But after a day at the Zoo we were completely exhausted and everyone's feet ached!
