So much to do, such little time!

Christmas is in 23 days and I've just realized how soon that actually is! I'm not freaking out yet, but there is a lot we have yet to do before the holidays.

Garpur and I have actually already baked the gingerbread men to hang on the Christmas tree, and my friend Móa came over the other day and we spent a whole afternoon, evening and some of the night, making chocolate-treats with marsipan-and nutfillings!

So some of things are done but what we have left is:
* making the "Aðventukrans"-candle-thing ... here we make a decoration that includes four candles. Then we light the candles one by one on the four Sundays before Christmas. The first Sunday like this is the 3rd of December ... and we haven't made our "Aðventukrans"decoration yet.
* baking the Christmas cake (and watering it with whiskey/rum for 3 weeks)
* cleaning the house; mopping the floors, cleaning the kitchen cupboards etc.
* making the Christmas cards, writing inside them and finding all the addresses for friends and family
* buying presents and wrapping them
* sewing some of the Christmas clothes for the smallest familymembers
* making a menu for the whole holiday period and shopping for it
* decorating the gingerbread men for the Christmas tree
* finding all the Christmas decoration, hanging it up, keeping some for the tree on that gets decorated on the 23th or the 24th.
* there's probably more I'm forgetting ...
