An update on my wonderful children

Úlfrún is growing up so fast that it's scary. The day before last Már found her first tooth. Today she figured out how to get about even faster than by crawling ... she found a chair, grabbed hold of it, pulled her self up beside it, and now she just pushes it around and walks behind it! Now she likes nothing more than standing by Garpur's shelves and tearing his things out and tossing them on the floor, then she can sit for ever just going through and examining it, puzzles, lego's, cars, train sets, coloring books ... you name it!

We had an interview/meeting with Garpur's playschool teacher today. She made me so proud of him. She described him as a kind, smart, sensitive, calm, strong and a creative boy. She said that he is one of the most popular kids in his class, he can play with anyone and is a kind of a leader in his class. Not that he tries to lead, he just seems to be so agreeable with everyone that the other children follow his lead. She told us that in playschool it is obvious that his strengths are doing fine things like drawing and building from lego's, listening to stories, playing with others. He still talks about the cats in playschool, tells the teachers how much he misses them, and apparently he talks positively about Úlfrún alot at school. The only thing that he doesn't seem to have an interest in, that is singing! Ofcourse, she wasn't really telling us anything we didn't know allready ... but it's great to hear it from someone else, who knows him quite well, that your son is a great person!
