1 week old

There you have it ... Úlfrún is one week old already! Well, she was yesterday.

Things are going incredibly well with her. It sortof amazes me how easy this all actually is. My recovery was almost instant, and our adjustment to the new family pattern has been very smooth.
It's probably partially because we're doing this for the second time and somehow just "know" what to do and how to do it ... but I think we're also very lucky, because Úlfrún seems to be just a very calm, comfortable and easy-going baby!
She for instance, lets us sleep pretty much through the night (from midnight to 4-ish, and then from 5-ish to 10-ish ... all together 9 hours sleep!)

Garpur is also an absolute angel about the whole situation. It can't be easy to lose the grip you have on your parents into the hands of such a tiny creature, but he seems to manage just fine.
Of course we try to be as aware of his feelings as we can and react to them by listening to him and take turns spending a lot of quality-time with him.
He's really good with his little sister, kisses her good night and cuddles her when he gets the opportunity.

I feel so lucky with the two of them, I feel that I couldn't have had two more wonderful children!
