Captain hook

We've been getting everything ready for the upcoming homebirth, the baby and everything. Beds have been made, laundry washed, a baby-sling sewn ... and yesterday Már drilled holes into our livingroom ceiling and put up two hooks to hang a rope in!

The initial reason for the rope was for me to use in the birth, for holding onto and so on ... but now we have all sorts of new ideas for the future use for the hooks: like putting up a swing, a rope ladder, a rope with knots to for climbing, or a wooden bar to do pull-up exercises on.

I remembered today that we had in the basement, a swing that was made for Már when he was a baby ... I went and got it, fastened it on the new hooks and let Garpur try it out.
Garpur is thrilled with it and has been swinging around in the living room today with great enthusiasm.
